I’m Mushroom Will. Mushroom Will is a purveyor of fine, Golden grown medicinal and gourmet mushrooms. My mushroom farm operates 12 months of the year in Golden BC. Almost all mushrooms, have medicinal benefits, and a few have very good, medicinal benefits, and many are used as gourmet foods. I started growing mushrooms about 22 years ago, but started growing them full-time as a commercial venture in 2019. Covid times were not kind to us farmers, but it gave me time to develop and learn the best ways to grow different mushrooms. It also gave me incentive to research, medicinal mushrooms, and their benefits. I Each mushroom has its own requirements, both environmental and substrate, which is the term used for mushroom food. I am able to suggest mushroom therapies to treat many human medical problems. I stand for the connectedness of all life with an understanding from a human viewpoint. This includes the health and well-being of all life, more specifically, the health and well-being of life generated by mushrooms and the fungal network.(we are all connected through the compassion, which enables connectedness). Fungi and mammals diverged only 600 million years ago. We are closer to fungi than to plants or other kingdoms.
